In April 2020, a state government recognized the urgent need to organize and launch a contact tracing strategy to fortify efforts to control the spread of COVID-19. They were seeking a comprehensive, integrated solution – one where qualified individuals, local to their communities, could be quickly identified, trained, and managed. With limited time, the state executed a Request for Proposal, gathered responses, and initiated a rapid vendor selection process to support this critical initiative.
Selected by the state government to assist in contact tracing recruitment, Atrium launched efforts in May 2020. Upon award, we activated over 60 unique job postings to optimize recruitment marketing strategies and established a geo-targeted approach with multiple job board partners to reach key communities.
Within 24 hours of posting, our team screened more than 4,700 applicants. Less than 24 hours after review, we interviewed more than 1,000 applicants and vetted over 600 qualified candidates. This ensured the state had a strong, localized talent pool to choose from.
