Fostering Partnerships & Empowering Diverse Suppliers
As we work to curate a contingent workforce that mirrors our diverse world, we are proud to extend that commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion to include our suppliers. Atrium firmly believes that supplier diversity is not only a responsibility but a strategic imperative for fostering a more inclusive and equitable business ecosystem.
Supplier Diversity through Atrium’s MSP Solutions
We are dedicated to championing supplier diversity as a driving force for progress, both within our organization and in our role as a Managed Service Provider (MSP). As an MSP, we magnify the impact of diversity and inclusion across numerous industries and sectors by actively integrating a wide range of suppliers into supply chains. Through close collaboration with our clients, we also ensure that our supplier network aligns seamlessly with their diversity goals.
Recruitment for Diverse Suppliers
Our approach to recruiting and attracting small, women-owned, disabled veteran, and minority-owned agencies is multi-faceted and tailored to ensure we engage with the most talented and capable suppliers from these communities.
Strategic Outreach and Partnerships
We actively engage with organizations and associations that support and advocate for diverse businesses, including the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), and the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), as well as many other national and local diversity councils.
By participating in their events, conferences, and matchmaking sessions, we have the opportunity to connect with a wide range of diverse suppliers and agencies. This allows us to gain a deep understanding of their capabilities and effectively introduce them to promising opportunities within Atrium and the clients we support as an MSP.
We ensure that we are recruiting and attracting diverse suppliers and fostering an environment where they can thrive by integrating these processes into our overall business strategy. We are proud of our supplier diversity initiatives and remain committed to expanding our network of small, women-owned, disabled veteran, and minority-owned agencies in alignment with our values and those of our clients.
Our internal supplier diversity program is designed to identify, evaluate, and onboard diverse suppliers. This program includes a dedicated team responsible for supplier diversity that partners with various departments to ensure that diverse suppliers are given fair consideration in all sourcing decisions. Our program also includes:
Supplier Registration Portal: Our supplier registration portal allows diverse suppliers to register their businesses, submit relevant certifications, and provide information on their capabilities. This portal is actively promoted through our outreach efforts and is an important tool in our supplier recruitment process.
Continuous Engagement and Relationship Building: Building long-term relationships with diverse suppliers is a priority at Atrium. We offer comprehensive support, including mentorship, training workshops, and networking opportunities, to help these suppliers thrive. Through consistent communication, we offer valuable feedback, growth opportunities, and insights into upcoming projects. Our dedicated team is committed to understanding the unique needs, challenges, and successes of our diverse suppliers, allowing us to continually refine and strengthen our support and engagement strategies.
Inclusive Procurement Practices: Our supplier diversity program is embedded across key operational processes, ensuring that diverse suppliers have equal access to procurement opportunities, are included in our competitive bidding processes, and are evaluated on a level playing field. Our internal goals for diverse supplier inclusion track our progress and ensure accountability.
Acting as an MSP to Extend Diversity Goals: Our MSP solutions create opportunities for diverse suppliers to participate in larger, more complex projects that they might not have access to independently.
